One million people have registered for Sky Broadband and it seems that most of you have come here at one point or another drawn by all the problems you have been having.
I am sincerely sorry for these people and hope this place is giving you an opportunity to vent some of your anger. I like anger and i like ranting so please keep the comments coming!
Anyway Sky are naturally very happy with so many people signing up but do me a favour get out of it now and go somewhere better. To be honest free broadband still isn’t upto scratch anywhere yet so dig deep and spend a little it will be worth it.
Some of my friends have been patiently waiting for Sky Broadband for over a month now, the muppets (they are my friends so i guess i can call them that) have now been educated hopefully and have gone with someone better. If Pipex isn’t you bag then try….. err actually im not gonna reccomend anyone else but there are some out there. Thats just given me an idea for a new post!

I have been awaiting Sky broadband for months now since the original installation date. I have phoned them dozens of times, sometimes been given new installation dates only to be told on the next call that no such date existed. My only assumption is that the people making up dates have been doing so to get rid of me.
It has been escalated to their order management desk no less than five times now and on each occasion I have been told they will call me to let me know what has happened. But it has not even made it onto their system.
The annoying thing is I know all one person needs to do is call BT Wholesale and say order reference x can I have a date the engineer will be at this site, they could then let me know when I can be activated, 2 telephone calls, instead they would rather call centre staff, who are not even empowered to a level where they can decide when they take a cup of tea field dozens of calls from me.
I would under normal circumstances blame BT but it seems that no one from Sky has bothered to let BT know there is a line to install, or an error on the line to be installed or whatever sorry excuse they currently have.
I was thinking if I cancelled my direct debit and every letter they have get my wife to say well I will let my husband know, I bet they would have me in court well before I can open a single web page.
Perhaps she could say we have escalated the problem to the bank and they will be contacting you shortly for a while just in order to see what their response is.
I court I could hum them a song for about three hours representing the time I have been on hold.
Every question I could say clap once if your question is regarding dinnertime, clap twice if you question is about my new baby.
